Dr Healy was elected to the Executive Council of her peak national professional body, the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology, by its membership, served as its Honorary Treasurer and worked with its Dialysis, Nephrology and Transplantation Subcommittee organising scientific meetings.
She is a past member of the Medical and Scientific Advisory Committee of Australia’s peak NGO – Kidney Health Australia, appointed member of working party of the Australian Commonwealth Government Medical Services Advisory Committee, participating co-author of Guideline Writing Working Groups in Dialysis and Kidney Supportive care and has continuously served on State Digital Health governance, business and reference groups.
Current projects/grants
Dr Healy’s programs of research are supported by >$7M of competitive government and non-government funding, including the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC). Current funding includes NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence (CI - $2.5M) and project grants (AI x 2 - $1.7M), Australasian Centre for Health Service Innovation grants (CI x2 - $225,000), Industry (CI - $950,000), government (CIx2 - $100,00) and Research Organisations (CI x6 - $200,000).
